Personal maintenance tool
Machinr is intended for personal organisation and record-keeping for workshop machines and heavy machinery. It is not a certified maintenance management system, safety compliance platform, time-and-attendance system, or substitute for manufacturer service procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, or professional advice. Free and Pro feature limits are product tiers, not safety ratings.
Maintenance schedules and meters
Health intervals, due dates, hour-based prompts, checklists, and meter readings are tools to help you track work you define. You remain responsible for following manufacturer guidance, inspecting equipment, and performing maintenance safely. Do not rely on Machinr alone as proof that a machine is safe or serviceable.
Safety data sheets (SDS / MSDS)
Hazardous flags, safety notes, and attached SDS / MSDS PDFs are for your own record-keeping. Machinr does not supply, verify, or keep safety data sheets up to date. You remain responsible for obtaining current sheets from suppliers and following workplace health and safety requirements.
Receipts and tax records
Receipt capture, category labels, currency display, filters, year totals, and PDF exports are convenience features for your own records. Machinr does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice. Amounts, categories, and supporting documents should be verified against original invoices and your accountant or tax authority requirements before filing.
QR tags and deep links
Printed QR labels and machinr:// links (legacy machiner:// still work) are for your own asset identification. You are responsible for physical placement, durability, and who can scan tags in your workshop or yard.
iCloud Sync
Optional iCloud Sync (Machinr Pro) depends on Apple’s iCloud service and your Apple ID. Sync delays, conflicts, storage limits, or account issues may affect availability of data across devices. Keep important originals of critical invoices and manuals where appropriate.
Exports and shared files
PDFs, shopping lists, backups, and other shared files are created on your device when you export them. You are responsible for who receives those files and how they are stored. Machinr cannot control third-party apps or destinations you choose in the iOS share sheet.
Free plan and Machinr Pro
The free plan limits how many machines, parts, and log entries you can add, and does not include Team, iCloud Sync, or full backup export / import. Machinr Pro is an optional subscription billed through Apple. Pricing, renewals, trials, and refunds follow Apple’s App Store rules.
Team and audit history
Team members, roles, assignees, and performed-by stamps are convenience features for workshop organisation. Soft role limits can be bypassed by anyone with access to the device or its data. They are not a certified audit log, payroll record, login system, or legal proof of who performed work.
Translations
Machinr is available in multiple languages. Translations are provided on a best-effort basis and some wording may be inaccurate. If anything in the app looks wrong, please contact info@machinr.com.au.
